I have called Elk Grove my home for 33 years. It is because of our diverse population and the caring community that I continue to call Elk Grove home. My educational background and career as a Registered Nurse prepared me to care for and serve people of all ages and backgrounds. I have worked in hospitals as well as public health settings as a school nurse. My personal beliefs are that all residents deserve a healthy and sustainable quality of life.
I have been regularly participating in city council meetings, public workshops, and regional planning forums for 20 years. At this point in my civic participation I decided to serve the residents of District 3 and the city as a whole. Together I believe Elk Grove can become not only a great city, but one in which our family and friends will choose to call home for a long time.
A rapidly growing city faces many challenges that require hands-on leadership. Whether it is cracked streets, traffic congestion, public safety, struggling small businesses, or our overall well-being, we can do better and we deserve better. I want to work for you and would be honored to serve as your city council member.
